Banner House Museum - Summer Volunteer Opportunity

Volunteer Opportunities
The Banner House Museum would not exist without volunteers!

Volunteers raised the funds and purchased the Banner house, then renovated it, turning it into a museum with donated period items. Volunteers decorated the rooms, landscaped the yard, and trained to be docents--to guide visitors through our history with tours and demonstrations.

Volunteer Opportunities
Docent training is provided periodically for anyone interested in leading museum tours. Docents must be comfortable in dealing with people and committed to learning more about this area's history and families. Docents must be available a minimum of 3 hours a week. Community outreach events provide additional volunteer opportunities.
