Days and Hours Open
Banner House Museum will be open from mid-June through mid-October
Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 AM until 4:00 PM
Final daily tour begins at 3:15 PM

Admission
Adults: $5
Children: 6-12 $1
Children: under 6 free
Members: free

Parking
Parking is available in the adjacent parking lot of the Lees-McRae College athletic facilities, as available. Parking is also available at the Mill Pond.

Accessibility
The ground floor is accessible to wheelchairs.

Getting to the Banner House Museum,
7990 Hickory Nut Gap Road, Banner Elk, NC 28604:

From the Banner Elk Chamber of Commerce, follow NC 184 south for approximately one mile and turn right on Hickory Nut Gap Road. After you cross the bridge, you will see the museum on your left.

From the Avery County Chamber of Commerce, take NC 184 north for four miles. Turn left on Hickory Nut Gap Road. After you cross the bridge, you will see the museum on your left.
